Holy Cow! I came across these pictures the other day of my appearance at the San Diego Comic Con in August of 1998. Where does the time go? Someone actually made a 3-D version of my book cover for the event and it looks like I am signing a rare hardcover edition of the first printing of The Enchanted World of Rankin/Bass: A Portfolio, in the first photo. The Mad Monster Party soundtrack CD was released there and I brought some over to Phyllis Diller. It was great meeting the guys from Adam 12, who weren't far from my booth. I wish I had talked to Martin about Route 66, which I became a bigger fan of later. I signed a lot of books there! #sandiegocomiccon #rankinbassproductions #flashbackfriday

Martin Milner R. I. P.
So sorry to hear about Martin Milner's passing. One of my favorite actors and good in so many things. I believe he was one of the first actors to act with James Dean on television. Also one of the few to have two very successful series on television. A great!

ADAM-12
MARTIN MILNER
I loved the television show ADAM-12 growing up and I still love it! My kids love it too. My Dad always said ADAM-12 was the closest TV show to the work that he did as a Police officer. I recently learned that ADAM-12 was one of Kurt Cobain's favorites too. The second season DVD set is awesome and even has an episode with guest star David Cassidy. Martin Milner was also GREAT in ROUTE 66 and was the first actor to appear on a television screen with the legendary JAMES DEAN.
