Watched the Flaming Star blu ray last night...
Definitely one of his better films, but still think King Creole is his best! I have many favorites including Follow That Dream and Kid Galahad.

I am still fascinated by the name of this character in the
series. Clearly credited as Shag, but the actors calling the character
Shad. I have something cool coming up with the artist/my friend Shag

Arthur Rankin, Jr's Birthday: July 19th
I was so busy watching Ruby on the 19th, Arthur Rankin, Jr's birthday
passed right by me! I can't believe it has been 3 years since Denise
and I went to Bermuda and I spoke at his memorial. I just flipped
through The Arthur Rankin, Jr. Scrapbook: The Birth of Animagic, to
remember Arthur and that amazing trip! The painting of Arthur's home
here in Bermuda, was painted by Arthur.
