It's coming up!
I know many people have been posting about a blu ray release of Here Comes Peter Cottontail. Don't buy it! It has the same cover of the edited syndicated version that came out at WALMART last Spring. Maybe the worst handling of a blu ray I have ever seen, next to The Little Drummer Boy I bought and returned this past Holiday season.

Frosty has been smoking hot in January! I am afraid his therometer is getting all red and you know what that means! Thank You for all of the orders! Love the reviews on AMAZON...it does include so much more than Frosty and we appreciate your wonderful comments!
Rankin/Bass' Santa Claus Is Comin' To Town is fifty in 2020! These last three years have been the best years in my Rankin/Bass history!
I have been signing many Santa/Daydreamer books lately and I think the fans realize that this one is Fifty this year! I am planning some panels on the Anniversary of this classic TV Special and also maybe some appearances with The Daydreamer Animagic figures! These last three years have been my finest in my Rankin/Bass career! Two NEW books and also two of my very favorites, many more quality appearances than in the past 10 years before (Just flip through the appearance section of our new Frosty book)! We have some really exciting appearances scheduled for 2020 too, that range coast to coast! Also in the last three years I appeared on a television show and a film (See IMDB Rick Goldschmidt). I have several new Awesome products to bring to my booth in 2020 too! Looking forward to it!
Batman Pilot cowl
When I got my Adam West Batman cowl in the late 1990s, I was very careful to get one with the right color and material to match the one worn in the Batman Pilot episodes (See my photo from my original transparency further down the blog page in my first cowl post). There are cowls floating around now that are too shiny and too blue (I saw one in a TV Commercial the other night). The funny thing is, most people can't tell the difference. I can. It is kind of like that dress color thing that was on the internet a few years ago, where various people see the dress differently. I also notice on most of the replica George Barris Batmobiles, the Red stripe detailing is too thick and too orange.
