RANKIN/BASS' MAD MONSTER PARTY

RANKIN/BASS FUN FACT: As I start another project involving RANKIN/BASS' MAD MONSTER PARTY Going through documents, I discovered that prior to the final film name of MAD MONSTER PARTY (written by Leonard Korobkin and Harvey Kurtzman, which final contracts were provided for on October 31, 1966) and before that it was known as THE MONSTER MOVIE (when Jack Davis composed his first version of the movie poster art) the original working title for the film as early as September 23, 1965 was MONSTER CONVENTION. Boris Karloff actually performed his off-camera voice over work on October 6th and 7th, 1965.
