ST. VALENTINE'S DAY & PRESIDENT'S DAY DVD Special SALE!

To celebrate the Holiday weekend...we are having a sale on the WILLY McBEAN & HIS MAGIC MACHINE (1965) ANIMAGIC collector's DVD and offering it through Monday at the discounted price of $15 shipped! AND...the first 10 orders will also get the signed PAUL COKER, JR. FROSTY THE SNOWMAN postcard as a BONUS! You can PAYPAL Rickgoldsc@aol.com or e-mail for mailing instructions. If you LOVE RUDOLPH THE RED-NOSED REINDEER....you will love this! It was filmed simultaneously with RUDOLPH by RANKIN/BASS and features most of the same talent! WILLY McBEAN is voiced by BILLIE MAE RICHARDS (RUDOLPH) and Professor Von Rotten is voiced by LARRY D. MANN (Yukon Cornelius). This is by far one of my favorite RANKIN/BASS Productions and I think it would be one of yours too! It was RANKIN/BASS' first feature film and it was shot entirely in ANIMAGIC (Long before CORALINE or Tim Burton's THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS)

Some Old Pics!

The KING OF COMIC BOOKS...the late JACK KIRBY and myself at the 1991 San Diego Comicon.
Three Time PULITZER PRIZE winning cartoonist...the late JEFF MacNELLY with myself in the early 1990's. He was giving me his impressions of my editorial cartoons for THE REPORTER NEWSPAPER.

The GREEN HORNET's BLACK BEAUTY and myself in Chicago circa 1990.

I think all of these pictures were taken by my pal PATRICK OWSLEY

DENNIS RIORDAN by PAUL COKER, JR.

Denny Rio plays bass and is Mr. Reliable in THE STARVING ARTISTS! Paul put a red X through a GREAT preliminary painting he did for me.

MAD, MAD, MAD MONSTERS collector's DVD

I have MAD, MAD, MAD MONSTERS on a collector's DVD now IN COLOR! email Rickgoldsc@aol.com

Tom Margarites by Paul Coker, Jr.

TOM MARGARITES plays some lightning fast solos on some of my songs including "Modern World" on RICK GOLDSCHMIDT SINGS. He is also the subject of one of my new songs for DRAMA FREE called "Tom Margarites." This illustration was from an early version of a band painting that RANKIN/BASS designer PAUL COKER, JR. (MAD MAGAZINE) did of us!

JAY WARD PILOTS

Watched the JAY WARD pilots on DVD tonight! It has been a while since I put that disc in. What GREAT stuff! RAH RAH WOOZY, GEORGE OF THE JUNGLE, FANG, THE WONDER DOG, HAWKEAR: FRONTIER SCOUT (my favorite), FRACTURED FLICKERS, SUPER CHICKEN, THE WATTS GNU SHOW (A cool puppet show) and the NUTT HOUSE...all brought to you by PONSBY BRITT! These pilots aired at a MUSEUM OF TELEVISION & RADIO appearance by Jay Ward years ago and are quite amazing!
