This is going to be an Amazing show!

I have always loved this show!  Many of the things you saw in my collection on Collector's Call came from here!   I last appeared here in October of 2016.  The last few years I have been at CHILLER THEATRE and will be returning to CHILLER next year for their Anniversary shows!  This will be my one rare appearance at the biggest and BEST Toy Show on Halloween weekend!  I have been busy this month!  I am writing an article for Remind Magazine's Christmas issue this weekend!   I will be posting my Santa's Village appearance dates soon too!  I love the Autumn!!!!

I just watched my Shrimpenstein DVD again and always forget how many great commercials are on here including the first Quisp and Quake, McDonald's, Sugar Daddy, Hornel hot dogs, Kellogg's, etc.  Wonderful stuff!   Shrimpie was designed by Wah Ming Chang (Hardrock, Coco and Joe, Suzy Snowflake, etc.) and Gene Moss was a writer on Roger Ramjet, Lance Link Secret Chimp and more.  In fact, I found a mint copy of his Dracula's Greatest Hits with cards (Jack Davis cover) today!

Even though Rankin/Bass' Mad Monster Party was released in 1967 in a very limited release, it saw a much bigger push 50 years ago. "It was kind of snuck out," said the late Maury Laws. It got a much bigger push and was reviewed in the New York Times in 1969 in Saturday Afternoon Kiddie Matinees.
