I just realized this Rankin/Bass Festival of Family Classics cel I own, is from Johnny Appleseed (which is in my etsy shop on dvd). I thought it was from Tom Sawyer for some reason. I haven't watch some, since they aired on WGN tv in Frazier Thomas' Festival of Family classics. #Rankinbassproductions

I obtained the original script to Rankin/Bass' The Song of Hiawatha, which was simply known as Hiawatha, when it was written by William J. Keenan in December of 1971. This is one of my favorite episodes of Festival of Family Classics (which I have on dvd) and it features nice voice work by Billie Mae Richards (Rudolph) and Paul Soles (Hermey). #script #paulcokerjr #rankinbassproductions #festivaloffamilyclassics 🦃 #historianrickgoldschmid

RANKIN/BASS' THE DAYDREAMER
I don't remember THE DAYDREAMER on Frazier Thomas' FAMILY CLASSICS BUT I always watched and loved FAMILY CLASSICS! I do remember WGN-TV airing RANKIN/BASS' FESTIVAL OF FAMILY CLASSICS right after the movies.
