HAPPY BIRTHDAY GEORGE HARRISON!

WEDGIES

I think I finally figured out these WEDGIES from CARTOON NETWORK/BOOMERANG after all this time! It is what NOT to do with animation....Right? These are the most god awful things I have ever seen done in animation. Who in the world paid for these to be aired? AND who is airing these things? There is nothing worse than to see or even hear these awful things between the vintage HANNA-BARBERA cartoons (Which are few and far between these days on BOOMERANG).

RANKIN/BASS' SILVERHAWKS

Mancow gave me (and Arthur Rankin) this set over a year ago and I just opened and watched some of it. This show was after my Saturday morning cartoon days and I never really knew much about it. The set comes in a nice foil sleeve as all the other WB releases BUT this time, they did a nice Documentary called: PARTLY METAL, PARTLY REAL: Remembering SILVERHAWKS. The Documetary features RANKIN/BASS writer/script supervisor LEE DANNACHER and she comes off really well on camera. It also features PETER LAWRENCE (Writer/script supervisor), MAGGIE WHEELER (Voice of Steelheart) and TOM McGRATH (Former Marketing Director for KENNER TOYS).
