Day 1 of Wizard World Chicago at booth A3 was a real Smasharoo!

Thank You to Scott B. for returning my Hermey & Rudolph poster to me!  I thought I lost it at the Wheaton All-Night Flea Market!

My Brother and I had curtains and linens with a similar Superman and Batman design in the 1970s!

My friend Sherry Jackson by my pal Steve Rude!

Another great Advertising character!

Saturday, Aug. 24, 20192:30 PM - 3:15 PM location: ROOM 1 the enchanted world of rankin/bass productions with official historian/biographer rick goldschmidt No one knows more about the Heat Miser and Snow Miser than Rick Goldschmidt, the official Historian/Biographer for Rankin/Bass Productions for over thirty years. Rick worked closely with the late Producer Arthur Rankin, Jr. during that time and authored six books, including his first book The Enchanted World of Rankin/Bass: A Portfolio (MISER BROS PRESS), which is now 412 pages and in it's 20th Anniversary edition. It is actually 22 years since it's release and is the bible for Rankin/Bass fans. Rick will discuss the Productions of Arthur Rankin, Jr. and Jules Bass including Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer, Thundercats, The Hobbit, Santa Claus Is Comin' To Town, Mad Monster Party and Frosty the Snowman, among many others. AMC and FREEFORM TV are both showing marathons this year, introducing the classic TV Specials to a new generation. This year is the 50th anniversary of their CBS TV Special Frosty the Snowman and no television special has lasted on the same network for 50 years besides Frosty! It is the 55th Anniversary of their landmark TV Special Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and the 45th Anniversary of The Year Without A Santa Claus starring the Heat Miser and Snow Miser. You won't want to miss this Wizard World Chicago panel and Rick will answer your questions and sign your books at his booth!

Some people ask me, Which Tony do you like best? This one! He's Greeeeaaaaaaaaaat! #tonythetiger #kelloggs #cereal

It was good seeing my friends Wallace and Theodore Cleaver again! This was out third appearance together and The Mathers and Dows are becoming great friends!

Tony and I talked about his Old Milwaukee Commercial when he had curly locks of hair!

Teresa Mathers told me this was the biggest line they ever had anywhere!

Busy, Busy, Busy!

It was hard to snap any pictures once things got going!  My art is always a big seller at this show and the Mad Monster Party blu rays were hot too!   I sign and draw in the covers of those!  Lots of people were asking about our new Frosty book!  Many people recognized me from Collector's call and I am doing a few more exciting TV Projects very soon!

It's always great seeing my friend Kristy McNichol!
