My pal Patrick will be in Dallas too, sitting with Paul and I with some cool art prints and original art! Check it out for sure! www.patrickowsley.com
Labels: FROSTY THE SNOWMAN, HANNA-BARBERA'S FRANKENSTEIN JR. and the IMPOSSIBLES DVD set, PATRICK OWSLEY
Don't forget to come out and meet Paul at the con this Saturday! We will have some cool MISER BROS pictures that he will be signing for $20 for the set!
This is the version I have on DVD with the wonderful McDonald's commercials and bumpers of the early 1970s!
C. 2012 MISER BROS PRESS/RICK GOLDSCHMIDT ARCHIVES
The GAS LP is scarce and the demo LP is even scarcer for the special! You get to hear Greer Garson's line, that was mistakingly replaced by the Paul Frees scratch track on the actual DVD of the special.

Boy would I like to see LINUS return to the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade! It has been unwatchable in recent years!
I have the series on DVD and my favorite episode is the one about Linus' balloon for the Macy's Thanksgiving day parade! Sheldon Leonard was the best!
Paul Coker, Jr. and I will meet for the first time, face to face :) We have known each other for over 25 years and worked on many projects together...him in Sante Fe and me near Chicago. We will be doing some radio and TV interviews in Dallas as well! We will be signing some very special MISER BROS photos at the show! Paul designed the Heat Miser and Snow Miser and most of the Rankin/Bass characters over the years! He designed the entire Santa Claus Is Comin' To Town special, which celebrates it's 45th Anniversary this year :) Come out and make your holidays Holly and Jolly! We will be sitting with our pal artist Patrick Owsley, who designed many of the Rankin/Bass DVD and BLU RAY covers in the past!

Rankin/Bass' classic Thanksgiving special appeared on WFLD Ch. 32 in Chicago in the past. A wonderful Bass/Laws soundtrack too! My pal June Foray appeared for the first time in a Rankin/Bass TV Special with her pal Paul Frees. They also appeared together in The Little Drummer Boy that same year, 1968. You may know them better as Boris and Natasha.
I talked to my long-time pal, Rankin/Bass designer Paul Coker, Jr. Monday night! We are really looking forward to finally meeting in person in Dallas this Friday! ❄ You can come to the North Dallas Comic Con on Saturday 9:30 am until 5 pm! We will have some special signed items for sale, including my books. If you are not able to make Dallas, stay tuned for our Black Friday offer at www.miserbros.com. Sign up to our mailing list to be in the loop and get holiday discounts and updates.

Been watching lots of THE GREEN HORNET on DECADES...I have two full marathons saved on my DVR, but I like having it on live TV too!
