AFLAC did a RANKIN/BASS style RUDOLPH commercial for 2007! Heard from the PR person at the ZOO and I will be doing some morning News shows again this season in the Chicago Area.

BROOKFIELD ZOO December 8th & 9th

Brought books and cds to the ZOO over the weekend for our HOLIDAY MAGIC appearances with the original RUDOLPH and SANTA RANKIN/BASS Animagic figures! This will be a GREAT event! We will be at BORDERS BOOKS & MUSIC on those dates too at Noon with SANTA & RUDOLPH. Come say hello!

Looks like our date to play this Saturday Nov. 10th is being changed. Turns out BOB STROUD and 8 oldies bands were scheduled for the date by BORDERS' corporate office. I will post our NEW date shortly. I will be there for sure December 8 and 9th at Noon and perhaps we will also play music on those dates as well. Sorry for the late notice.

Who will Re-buy this? What is DELUXE about this? NEW WAVE ENTERTAINMENT contacting me about adding some special extras to this DVD. When I asked for compensation, I never heard from them again. Looks like WARNER BROTHERS is releasing this DVD in February, 2008 with NO EXTRA content from RANKIN/BASS. They added three stop-motion type shorts that are NOT even RANKIN/BASS. They could have added a nice RANKIN/BASS Documentary like THE YEAR WITHOUT A SANTA CLAUS has or a still gallery...or something that fans would want to repurchase this. Look at this cover? The first cover was so much better and represented the show much better. This is what happens when a show like this ends up in the wrong hands.
