My pal Dave Harms put this all together! He has a great Rudolph and Frosty collection too!
I saw the light blue Rankin/Bass shirt design today and it looks really cool! A bit different than our previous shirts in design and style!

January 12th
Looks Like I will be doing a signing of my new book and bringing lots of other cool items along, to a private party for the members of the Christmas Glow group at the McHenry County Historical society museum January 12th, 2019. I appeared at the Christmas Glow convention about three years ago. This will be on the set of the 1969 Sears Catalog page, along with a few new attractions Dave added for the event, including a Sears Christmas tree 1969 exclusive and a Marshall Fields display! So the Holiday season is not over yet! If you have an interest in coming to this Book signing and live in the area of Union, email me at Rickgoldsc@aol.com and I will see if I can get you in.

McHenry Co. Historical Society
I hope to do another event at the McHenry County Historical Society this Holiday season with my friend Dave Harms. He really does have an awesome, vintage Christmas collection focusing on Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. December 14th will be the 45th Anniversary of Rankin/Bass' Santa Claus Is Comin' To Town. I worked on a deluxe CD release of the soundtrack several years ago with the Warner Music Group and it is one of the finest Bass/ Laws soundtracks of all-time! The classic special is one of their very best!
UPDATE: We will be doing an event this year at the McHenry County Historical Society! It may be on December 14th, the 45th Anniversary of Rankin/Bass' Santa Claus is Comin' to town...we'll see. I know Dave and his girlfriend will be setting up a display of a stunning Aluminum Christmas Tree Forest! More info to follow!

RADIO INTERVIEWS
I have been doing so many radio interviews on a daily basis, I can hardly post the information before they air...several a day. Did a great one this morning for 45 minutes with Mike Thomas on KWRE in MO. He said he is still getting calls :) We had one caller who saw the Animagic cast of the Rudolph characters at NBC in the late 1960's (I have a few friends that remember that as well). I
had several requests this morning all over the country and in Canada (Doing one with Glenn Pellieter tomorrow at 12:05 pm in Canada). I will be on WGN RADIO again today at 4:30 pm on The Bill Leff & Wendy Snyder show, which you can stream live here www.wgnradio.com I have been on Bill's show several times and I am speaking at the McHenry County Historical Society tomorrow night at 7 PM in Union, IL. They have a huge display of RARE Rudolph items there from my friend Dave Harms. Come out and meet me there!
