Jack Davis dvd

 Jack absolutely loved this dvd I made up for us several years ago!   It contains all of his animated commercials, animatics, interviews, etc.   I saved his voice mail message when he got it and he was ecstatic!   I made some up for Atlanta and some people saw the post and wanted to order one...email Rickgoldsc@aol.com for ordering instructions!

Jack Davis' last painting 😞

He did this painting for me at age 90, just before having some strokes.  So very sad to hear of his passing today...just talked with my ol' pal Hank Harrison, who wrote the first two books on Jack.  So glad Jack approved of the chapter I wrote on him in my MAD MONSTER PARTY book!   I saved his ecstatic voice mail regarding the DVD of all of his TV Commercials and interviews I made for him!   Going to watch that again today!   We included this painting full page in my last book THE ARTHUR RANKIN, JR. SCRAPBOOK:  The Birth of Animagic, along with a photo of a beautiful painting he did about 10 years ago for Arthur Rankin for MAD MONSTER PARTY REUNION!  Jack was a one of a kind and a dear friend and we will all miss him!

GOOD NEWS! Wes Garlatz's layout of my MAD MONSTER PARTY book looks sensational! I am REALLY happy with it! The JACK DAVIS chapter alone is a TRICK-OR-TREAT! We are going to start taking orders possibly tomorrow at www.miserbros.com and I may have softcovers here as soon as the day after HALLOWEEN and hardcovers following about 5 days later! I am very excited about it...so if you love MAD MONSTER PARTY, you won't be disappointed! If you want to get in on the first print run, order asap! We are not sure on the amount we will run in this first printing and the pre-orders will dictate how many we get this first round...so if you want it, order when you can :)
