I wasn't there...BUT wish I was! Why did they tear down the old Comiskey Park...Home of the GO GO WHITE SOX? I am not sure how good the sound could have been at this show BUT who cared? I have a NEW VOX amp coming at the end of the month.

I was there! My friend DENNIS BLECK took this picture and with the anniversary coming up, I thought I would post it. STING just finished filming DUNE and still had the red hair. This was their first show on their SYNCHRONICITY TOUR. Opening acts included THE FIXX, MINISTRY, A FLOCK OF SEAGULS and JOAN JETT & THE BLACKHEARTS. Doesn't seem like that long ago! ALEX TOTH

Pre-orders are being taken at www.timeandspacetoys.com Several years ago PLAYING MANTIS did some proto-types that looked REALLY good but their license ran out and they never made the toy store shelves. I had a nice visit today with my friend Gerry Maravilla (from Los Angeles)! He interviewed me for his website http://www.powso.com/ We got to watch the DELUXE MAD MONSTER PARTY extras, Produced by SPARKHILL today for the first time and I have to say I was quite impressed and so was Gerry! Very well done! Beautifully edited!!! REALLY enjoyed the seperate documentaries about the soundtrack music with MAURY LAWS and the SCREEN-NOVELTIES explanation on ANIMAGIC too! REALLY Great stuff!!! Gerry and I discovered we have similar tastes in music and are both die-hard GREEN DAY fans! He gave me a wonderful CD of cool stuff! We also have the same interests in doing something at PIXAR. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this NEW DVD set for the VINCE GUARALDI documentary alone! A GREAT documentary with great insight to a GREAT composer featuring many of the musicians that played in his band, his own son and the musicians that carry on his music today! TARGET has the set for $22. WARNER BROTHERS screwed up again and said one of the specials on DISC 2 is on DISC 1? Proof that the people in their home video department just don't care. Other than that, the specials look GREAT and it is wonderful to have all the 1960's specials together like this!

Dennis and I recently found ourselves on the historic ROUTE 66. I was TOD STILES to his BUZ MURDOCK as we listened to the Nelson Riddle theme as we cruised along.
