Thanksgiving day IHEART Radio show done today with Joe :)

It airs Thursdays from 9am-10am on WXLV. My show happens to fall on Thanksgiving AND Christmas this year, so I want to put together special shows for those holidays. We are an internet radio station, so we can be heard at our website or iheartradio.com. I can't wait!!! This will be fun!

United States Post Office Rankin/Bass Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer 50th Anniversary Postage Stamps
Laurie McClellan and I wrote the first day issue historical text for the program and press release. I was the first person to answer the question correctly on the USPS FACEBOOK page about the form of stop-motion Rankin/Bass used 'Animagic.' I was the one that made that clear in the first place. So many people call it 'Claymation' or just plain 'stop-motion,' which is incorrect. I am so glad I got to show Arthur Rankin, Jr. the stamps and text before he passed. He was proud. He actually wanted them to use different images from our archives, for the actual stamps (I see one of them in part has been getting used on the tags for the merchandise).

Walt Disney's Zorro
I have been re-watching the DISNEY TREASURES DVD sets again (Along with THE FLYING NUN...more on that later) and I love this series! Also love the extras in the 2nd set...especially Guy William's son going through the costumes and memorabillia with Leonard Maltin.
Love the Alex Toth art in this and the other comic books!

My Mom gave me all of my baby stuff...
I was a big baby at 10 lbs. 15 oz.! I love the cover on the baby book! I am told this may be a good night to watch NBC NIGHTLY NEWS with Brian Williams!

Love my vintage TV GUIDE Collection! Did another interview with TV GUIDE today :) The first article that came out on us in the late 1990's caused a sensation! Do you still read the magazine in the larger format or online?

Just had my first Trick or Treater!
Craziest Halloween weather day ever! Snow flurries, windy and cold! Yesterday would have been fine. Today I can't even keep my Halloween decorations in place. My tree is empty and my lawn was completely clean yesterday....today I have thousands of neighbors leaves on my lawn!
