Svengoolie and Screamin' Yellow Theater from WFLD is about to hit Fifty!

My favorite horror host of all-time is Svengoolie!  I remember learning to draw from watching How To Make A Monster on his show and seeing those great opening titles of an artist drawing Teenage Werewolf!  I popped in my DVD of Jerry's Svengoolie and I am always floored by how funny he was!  He signed many things for me, when I visited his restaurants in San Diego many years ago.   What an incredibly talented guy and he is definitely missed!

A true original!

What a talent JERRY G. BISHOP was!  He passed away a short while ago and with the exception of Rich koz, the Chicago media did very little to report it.   He was a big part of what made Chicago television great in the early 1970's and was a super talent!  He is missed!
