NOSTALGIC TOYS AND ADVERTISING - "Designer, author and artist, Rick Goldschmidt loved the toys of his youth so much, that as he grew older, he didn’t give them away, but rather bought more as his budget allowed. And Rick has a collection that now literally covers every surface and wall of his entire house. Rick is joined by his son, Josh who is a collector himself, as he shows Lisa parts of his collection including some original Rankin Bass relics, Mego dolls, a limited edition coloring book given to children on the set of “The Dick Van Dyke Show” and a nearly complete set of Captain Action toys and displays. And we’ve brought along David Gutterman, owners of Quake Collectibles to appraise Rick’s collection and perhaps make a trade with a vintage Kellogg’s lunchbox from his own collection."
