Just got off the phone with my good friend Jack Davis! Got his NEW book in the mail today DRAWING AMERICAN POP CULTURE: A CAREER RETROSPECTIVE...which is VERY nice! I like the way it is laid out. It is not a comprehensive collection BUT it has a nice cross section of his work. Jack said he just did a signing in New Jersey for FANTAGRAPHICS and he is glad to be home :) "A nice place to visit BUT I would never want to live there!"
