Yesterday, I heard from a friend of mine from Turner Classic Movies (TCM)/programming. He came to one of my panels at Dragon Con in Atlanta last year, and bought books at my table and we discussed a Rankin/Bass presentation with my involvement. On Friday, May 22nd, TCM will air the three Rankin/Bass films Produced with Joseph E. Levine in prime time finally. The marathon starts at 8 pm with Mad Monster Party, followed by The Daydreamer and ends with The Wacky World of Mother Goose. I wasn't able to attend, due to the pandemic, but if you get a chance, drop TCM a line and let them know you would like to see me bring some rare items and discuss the behind-the-scenes the next time around. #rankinbassproductions #historian #tcm

This has been my busiest weekend in ages!
Rankin/Bass fans are the BEST! Busy! Busy! Busy! I think I will keep this sale going through next weekend for friends and fans! I have been getting tons of emails! I just sold a dvd 8 pack, so if there are things you want, just email me at Rickgoldsc@aol.com Anything you normally get at conventions from me can be ordered by mail! My mailman Larry picks mail up here daily! Big batch going out tomorrow! Thank You and hope you had a wonderful EASTER!
I just got word that Chicago Cub legend Glenn Beckert died at 79. He was the first pro baseball player I met. He came to my school in 1st or 2nd grade and my dad took me, so it was very special. Years later, I took my son Josh to the 1969 Cubs reunion (when they were all still living) and that was very special! Glenn could not have been nicer! They do not make baseball players like that anymore! #glenmbeckert #chicagocubs

Here it is in all it’s glory. My tribute to my friend Wes Garlatz. Wes passed away last Week on a Thursday. He was the book designer for Miser Bro’s who celebrated the magical films of Rankin/Bass. Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer, Mad Monster Party, The Little Drummer Boy, Santa Clause Is Coming To Town, to name a few. He was my guest at Designercon 2019 promoting one of his new books. He will be missed.
Ok, I am all set up with my virtual Convention table at www.miserbros.com In order to get the deals seen here, just email me at Rickgoldsc@aol.com for invoice. If you don't see something you want, just email too! I have many things not pictured at the website. This is the cheapest we ever sold the books, so act now! My email is Rickgoldsc@aol.com

Wes was the best in the West!
Wes was the best in the West! Thanks for all of your condolences for Wes! He was a super guy and a big part of the success of what we did! Wes will live on in our books and the work I continue to do and will dedicate all public appearances to him! Like I said, we are trying to schedule a memorial event in West Hollywood during the Holiday season 2020! It is sad I didn't get to say goodbye, but we talked quite a bit this year in making plans for sales and products. Wes will not be forgotten!
