Jingle Bells

My late friend Bob McFadden was the voice of Jingle Bells! In fact, he did a voice mail message for me as the character. Bob and I connected just after my first book, The Enchanted World of Rankin/Bass: A Portfolio was released. He knew he was ill and wanted someone to document his career and sent me copies of everything. Bob had a wonderful career and voiced so many of my favorites including Milton the Monster, Cool McCool, Frankenberry, Baron Von Frankenstein in Rankin/Bass' Mad, Mad, Mad Monsters and more! A legend in the business! #Theyearwithoutasantaclaus #bobmcfadden #Jinglebells

My late friend Allen Swift, was the voice of Captain Cup Cake too! Hostess cup cake snack cakes were the thing! Besides doing all of the Monster voices and Felix Flankin in Rankin/Bass' Mad Monster Party, he did all of the voices in Diver Dan as well! His last appearance was in our Mad Monster Party documentary on the current blu ray and dvd! #allenswift #captaincupcake #madmonsterparty

This is my Burger King!

Allen Swift, my late friend, voiced Burger King!   He also voiced many other famous characters including Felix Flankin and the monsters in Rankin/Bass' Mad Monster Party, Simon Barsinister on The Underdog show, Characters on The Howdy Doody Show and The Hostess Ho Ho King!

This is the Naperville, IL Burger King as it still appears today!
