The Great Ak from Rankin/Bass' The Life and Adventures of Santa Claus is one of the surviving Animagic figures that we talk about in our 20th Anniversary edition of The Enchanted World of Rankin/Bass book (MISER BROS PRESS). In our new book, Rankin/Bass' Frosty the Snowman 50th Anniversary Scrapbook, we discuss another group of surviving Animagic figures! The Great AK
The Animagic figure of The Great AK from RANKIN/BASS' THE LIFE AND ADVENTURES OF SANTA CLAUS (1985) as he appears today. In my interviews, I often get asked, which was their last Animagic production? This was it Arthur wasn't too fond of it, BUT it has a pretty big fan base.
