Richard Hatch R.I.P.

Richard and I appeared at the Time & Space Toys booth at Wizard World in Chicago.  I told him how much I enjoyed his performance as Jan Berry in Dead man's Curve.  I discovered the music of Jan & Dean because of it 🎸

Watching Dead man's Curve on DECADES

Glad I got to tell Richard Hatch how much I liked this at Wizard World, some years back.  It helped me discover the work of Jan & Dean, the Wrecking crew, etc.

I have been listening to my JAN & DEAN collection after watching THE T.A.M.I. show! Was just reading that Jan's terrible accident took place on Dead man's curve April 19, 1966. I also didn't realize they cut their BATMAN single the day after the TV pilot aired January 12th, 1966. They had to go back into the studio and re-record most of it because the rights owners didn't want them using the names BATMAN and ROBIN on the tracks.
