BATMAN

Preproduction 1966 painting by Leslie Thomas for episode #23 THE RING OF WAX starring Frank Gorshin as THE RIDDLER ?

I was going through my BAT Ringbinder the last few nights and reorganizing :)

THE RIDDLER

Love this picture! THANKS Dale :) Frank Gorshin played such a HUGE role in the first season (and the BEST season) of BATMAN by appearing in four two parters and the feature film....he must have wanted more $ for the second season and they wouldn't give it to him...resulting in the downfall of a great series. He came back in the third season BUT it was way too late!

1966 BATMAN painting

The 1966 BATMAN TV series painting by Leslie Thomas for the episode "The Ring Of Wax" showed up last week and I rearranged some of my 1966 BATMAN collection to display it. It is huge!
