I wore this Rudolph costume in 2001 (the year my book The making of the Rankin/Bass Holiday classic: Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer was released) to one of the many Alex Ross Halloween parties I attended (That is Alex's Mother's art behind me). My sister Lindsey Pignatiello later wore this costume on an episode of Wild Chicago on PBS 🎅 The nose lit up with a button. I have been re-watching SHAZAM, now that I will be appearing with my friend Jackson again at Chiller Theatre.   I forgot what great life lessons the series taught!   Wouldn't it be great if today's entertainment found a way to teach great values like that?

I will be appearing again with Rich Koz August 9th at FLASHBACK!

 

These photographs are a bit embarrassing :)  They are from an Alex Ross Halloween party 10 years ago this Halloween!   Rich portrayed his comic hero Groucho Marx and I portrayed Alex's version of Captain Marvel, wearing the costume he had his model wear for all of the various Captain Marvel projects.  It was at this time that Alex and I met with Jackson Bostwick (Our favorite Captain Marvel), to work on a book project, but we never got it off the ground, like the Captain.

My sister Stacey picked this up for me at AF BOOKS.   I see four names on the cover BUT the only one that really matters, in my opinion, is my friend ALEX ROSS.  The inside art is ugly and the ads even more putrid!  Who is in charge at DC COMICS?  How could something that has great cover art like this, be so ugly inside?

The only thing good about the BATMAN '66 MEETS THE GREEN HORNET comic book series are the covers by my friend Alex Ross :)  The insides are putrid....ads and all!  God awful!

Did you know....I appeared in JLA: LIBERTY & JUSTICE DC?

I played a Newscaster :) (Something I am familiar with). Alex sent me this and said, "Did you notice I put you in the book? You ended up in the spine...so, I will have to put you in something else later :)" My good friend Alex Ross continues to do amazing work! What a great guy!
