FAMILY FEUD

C. 2012 Miser Bros Press/Rick Goldschmidt Archives

Just solved a family dispute over a line in Rankin/Bass' Santa Claus Is Comin' To Town (Which aired on ABC FAMILY tonight), with Arthur's copy of the script right next to me.  The line in question:  "Willy Willow, Peter Pine, release the Kringle."

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to James Cagney!

I was just reading that James Cagney visited Larry Fine when he was at the Motion picture Country home in the early seventies.  James Cagney did the voice of Big Bear in RANKIN/BASS' classic TV special THE BALLAD OF SMOKEY THE BEAR, which I have on DVD and it is some of my favorite RANKIN/BASS 'Animagic."   We added some new pictures in the 15th ANNIVERSARY EDITION of THE ENCHANTED WORLD OF RANKIN/BASS:  A PORTOFLIO and added lots of images from RANKIN/BASS' THE SMOKEY BEAR SHOW.
