Lousy customer treatment after years of customer loyalty at PALERMO'S 95th FINE ITALIAN CUISINE and BANQUETS in Oak Lawn, Illinois - Pizza

Dear Mr. Goldschmidt,

We are sorry to hear about your experience here on Wednesday night. As a loyal customer you realize it is not our intention to make ordering from us difficult. Our resent Monday and Wednesday promotion is priced on the premise of purchasing a pizza on the weekend at full price. The coupons are only attached to the pizza on those subsequent days, therefore we request that the coupon is presented to validate that the requirements have been met. The telephone operators are instructed to remind the customer to bring the coupon in for validation and it is clearly stated on the coupon itself. As with any business promotion there are requirements to be met by the consumer, such as bring the coupon in, to receive the correct discount. I have attached a copy of the coupon to verify this consumer agreement. We regret that you will no longer be dinning with us and hope that you understand our position.

Sincerely,

James Heniff
Director of Operations

I have literally bought hundreds of Pizzas at PALERMO'S over the years and with this attitude..I say BOYCOTT a place that does little to put the customer first and does little to do anything to correct the situation.  Notice that the flyer I was given makes no mention of anything James says it did.  In fact, I know they changed their policy and offer midstream without notifying the customer and still hold the customer responsible?
