Contrary to TV listings (or blog posts) you might have seen, KMOV (Channel 4) will preempt CBS’ airing of “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” at 7 p.m. Wednesday, not the much-promoted Grammy nominations concert at 8 p.m. An hour of paid programming airs at 7. This was actually always the plan, the station says; KMOV has had trouble recently getting its listings correct, which messes up DVR users, among others. But stop crying, kids. KMOV plans a late-night “Rudolph” repeat (2:12 a.m. Thursday, so make sure the little ones get a nap), and the classic Christmas cartoon will also air at 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, on CBS.
