It's time I visit Chiller Theatre!

Sister Theresa

Chiller Theatre Animagic guests

Come and see a few Rankin/Bass screen used Animagic figures on Saturday October 28th (we may add another date) at the CHILLER THEATRE EXPO!  Father Time (Red Skelton) from Rankin/Bass' Rudolph's Shiny New Year and Sister Theresa (Angela Landsbury) from The First Christmas from the David Scheve/Paul Kowalchuk TDA collection!  Both of these figures are huge!  I should know...I had Sister Theresa at my home and in my collection for several years :)  #chillertheatre #rankinbass #rudolphsshinynewyear #thefirstchristmas #animagic #puppets  #rickgoldschmidtappearance #october #halloween #original

It was amazing to listen to the Videocraft Demos for Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer tonight!

I heard parts of Larry D. Mann's performances of the songs that Burl would eventually sing in the classic Rankin/Bass special, but now I have all of the demos, thanks to sound engineer Bill Giles (who originally recorded everything).   Wonderful stuff!   Maybe we can do a deluxe CD for the 60th!

Shag roughs

Some SHAG roughs for his Rankin/Bass' Mad Monster Party print, which is in production and my favorite Mad Monster Party painting to date.  He said I can share the painting next week :)  #shag #madmonsterparty #rankinbass #theshagstore #goldenanniversary
