Eric Pigors

Eric Pigors with Ben Von Strawn

One of the great things about the Van Eaton Galleries show was meeting NEW people...especially the artists included in the show! It was a pleasure meeting Eric and seeing his very stylistic take on RANKIN/BASS' MAD MONSTER PARTY characters! Check out his website at www.toxictoons.com

We also have this NEW, Sensational print! Wes is going through the PROOF of THE 15th ANNIVERSARY EDITION of THE ENCHANTED WORLD OF RANKIN/BASS: A PORTFOLIO today and he says it looks sensational! The book is packed with NEW material and he says it is VERY thick! I was blown away by the layout of the book by Wes Garlatz and I told Arthur Rankin that this is going to knock his socks off!

Another Amazing piece from the Van Eaton show...

by Stephen Chiodo www.vegalleries.com

My friends Casey Wong and Daniel Roebuck! You may remember Dan from a movie or two (maybe THE FUGITIVE) or maybe from the TV Series MATLOCK or NASH BRIDGES. He appears in the Excellent AURORA MONSTERS DVD too!

MAD MONSTER PARTY BLU RAY

It is out :) You can pick up the DVD at just about any store...I saw it at TOYS 'R' US for $6.99. BEST BUY has RANKIN/BASS' MAD, MAD, MAD MONSTERS for $4.99 right now!

Many people have asked...the BLU RAY is ok...looks like they went back to the original film master but it has some problems. The DVD is more consistant and has beautiful color throughout. I suspect different companies did each transfer.

MAD MONSTER PARTY

Phyllis Diller's grandson Cory was in attendance! He is wearing the white shirt and tie and that is Chris Nichols (Associate editor of LOS ANGELES MAGAZINE) to his right :) A great guy and that comes as no surprise....Phyllis was a saint :) One of the absolute best celebrities I have had the pleasure to know...a true STAR! THANK YOU to Chris Nichols for introducing me to Cory!
