AT&T fired me for being sick after 20+ years!

AT&T fired me for being sick after 20+ years of good service! I won their EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR AWARD In January, 2008 and put in many quality years there. This firing was done in a sneaky way and I did file a case with THE DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN RIGHTS. Other senior employees (They now hire people at 1/2 the pay and no benefits under the job title of SERVICE CONSULTANT) , have been let go recently for supposed performance and are collectively trying to get a class action suit started. I am sure you have heard about the OCCUPY WALLSTREET movement. AT&T is one of the problems with AMERICA. I ask that you consider what I have said here, before you support AT&T by buying or adding any of their services.

prevent large corporations like AT&T from firing senior employees (I was
fired for sickness) to avoid pensions/health care!

Large corporations, such as AT&T, are getting rid of their senior
employees by firing and making them leave for unjust reasons. I was fired,
after 20+ years, for sickness and they turn around and say it was because 'I did not
return during an unapproved absence.' All three of my doctors advised
against going back to work and spoke with AT&T by phone and faxed medical
documents. They claim they had no knowledge of my sickness. The driving
force behind this is to avoid paying me a larger pension and health care as
was negotiated in our union contract for my job title. Now they hire people
under a different job title 'SERVICE CONSULTANT' with no pension
and no benefits. IBEW LOCAL 21 went along with this under the guise of it
saved jobs BUT it did not...it lowered the quality of jobs.
