It is LUCY's Birthday!
I was lucky enough to pick this up at WIZARD WORLD years ago... ME TV has her on all weekend in Chicago BUT if you can, pick up the complete series on DVD. The remastered prints blow away what they show on ME TV, TV LAND or any other channel and you can watch episodes in the later seasons with the original open/closes and commercial billboards. My late, great friend BOB McFADDEN was the voice of FRANKENBERRY and he even did a voice mail message for me as FRANKENBERRY! We are adding a FRANKENBERRY commercial at the end of the SOAKY DVD!

HALLMARK
We were at HALLMARK today and they have a great, new line of CHRISTMAS ornaments...including the 1966 BATMOBILE (Which plays the theme song BUT it sounds re-recorded). They also used the wrong, 1970's logo on the box BUT still very cool! There are a few RANKIN/BASS ornaments this year of RUDOLPH & FROSTY. There is also a line of beautiful PEANUTS statues that include SNOOPY in his astronaut outfit and CHARLIE BROWN flying a kite (Looks right out of the VIEW-MASTER).I have a NEW favorite book....

RANKIN/BASS' THE DAYDREAMER
Jack Gilford was in one of tonight's CAR 54, WHERE ARE YOU? as the Jonah, Smitkin :) Paul O' Keefe made several appearances on CAR 54 as a boy scout!
