I watched RANKIN/BASS' MAD MONSTER PARTY again today and I noticed a few things that I never commented about before... There is an awesome guitar solo (Not found on the CD soundtrack) during the scene where Felix and Francesca are eating sandwiches and DRAC is trying to bite Felix. I love the picture FRANCESCA has of herself on her table in her room. I also think it was clever for RANKIN/BASS to use a sixties metal wind-up musical toy sound for YETCH's head rolling around during the food fight :)

My favorite BASIL cover! I have them all too. I watched HOUSE OF FRANKENSTEIN with Josh today!

Just had my last TRICK OR TREATER for the year, come a little while ago....lots of candy left over this year.

Lots of TRICK OR TREATERS here today! I like the mask on the second shelf that Rob used on THE DICK VAN DYKE SHOW for a sketch. It also looks like the one Norton wanted (or the one he didn't want because it looked too much like his boss) on the train on their way to the convention!

Ron Murphy sent this pic along and said A1-FARMS is closing after many years of business!

I have only had a chance to watch disc 1 of the 1960's set BUT I like that WB was able to use the KELLOGG'S open on QUICK DRAW McGRAW this time! I also like having the first episode of GULLIVER. They also found a 35 negative print of LIPPY THE LION...which looks GREAT! I hope they can find better prints of TOUCHE TURTLE and WALLY GATOR one day. I am really surprised at how bad the art looks on the packaging. The Ricochet Rabbit and HILLBILLY BEARS drawing on the back of the 1960's set looks like a first grader did it?!?!?

We recorded a NEW STARVING ARTISTS song a while back called "Luz Marie." It was recorded at Tom Repetny's studio and is quite a departure for us BUT classic STARVING ARTISTS as well. The final mix down of the song will be done this week and should be posted on the net soon.

R.E.M. LIVE AT THE OLYMPIC IN DUBLIN

R.E.M. never sounded better! Their last studio CD was Amazing. This sounds like R.E.M. in 1981...they even do all their first EP songs LIVE like "Wolves, Lower," "1,000,000" and "Carnival Of Sorts (Box Cars)" GREAT stuff!
