RANKIN/BASS' RUDOLPH THE RED-NOSED REINDEER postage stamps for the 50th Anniversary this Holiday season!

http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/federal-eye/wp/2014/02/20/top-secret-revealed-who-and-what-will-be-on-the-next-postage-stamps/

Finally, an official announcement of the 50th Anniversary RANKIN/BASS RUDOLPH THE RED-NOSED REINDEER stamps from the US POST OFFICE that I helped with :)  I don't have to keep the news HUSH HUSH anymore!  I was able to write the text that goes with the publicity of these stamps and let Arthur know about them and show him the designs, before he passed away!  He was proud to know his work would be featured on stamps :)  I also kept Jules from being called Saul Bass (A great designer in his own right!) :) THE WASHINGTON POST does a GREAT job of reporting NEWS (Real NEWS)!

VARIETY magazine (glad I was able to help with this one...VARIETY was important to Arthur)

A sneak peak at my Jay Ward piece..

For Van Eaton Galleries show opening March 1st..

LOUISVILLE SLUGGER MUSEUM & FACTORY

I have been asked to assist with a holiday exhibition featuring the holiday specials of RANKIN/BASS at the Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory in Louisville, KY for November/December 2015. Given the baseball focus at the museum, they would also include a section on R/B’s “Willie Mays and the Say Hey Kid.”

I am game  So many of you have said I should open up my own museum. I am thinking that several places like this may want to have an exhibit for a limited time for their area to enjoy. Baseball has always been something I have always had an interest in and Maury Laws composed some music a few years back for a Cooperstown show that Dave Winfield hosted. Take me out to the ball game!
