There is a screening of a Jim Henson retrospective tonight in Chicago, that I unfortunately will have to miss. I hope they put it out on DVD/BLU-RAY one day. Josh and I enjoyed a beautiful 70 degree, sunny day today!

BURL IVES
Speaking of RUDOLPH, my friend Tom made a special trip to visit Burl's grave. Burl was from Illinois. Burl wrote the forward to my book THE ENCHANTED WORLD OF RANKIN/BASS: A PORTFOLIO and I changed the pictures on his page for the newest edition of the book. I have become very good friends with his widow Dorothy over the years and really enjoy everything he did in his career (As does my friend Tom). Burl even starred with James Dean in EAST OF EDEN. He appeared in several things for RANKIN/BASS including THE DAYDREAMER, THE BERMUDA DEPTHS and THE FIRST EASTER RABBIT.
RUDOLPH airs on December 2nd this year...

I believe it is the 45th airing BUT will have to check..>Arthur always knows the correct # It is too bad CBS and ENTERTAINMENT RIGHTS have not remastered with the new technology nor have they done a MAKING OF documentary.

NORTH BY NORTHWEST
A GREAT BLU-RAY release and one of my favorites! James Bond definitely has his roots in this. A very nice book packaging!

Built to shred!
Dennis had to make a 3 inch riser and then trim around the base today. The previous home builder made mistakes and had the plumbing going out...higher than the sink. Water does not travel up hill :)

This is pretty sweet!
A 20th Anniversary release of their first CD "Bleach" came out today, complete with a live performance from 2/9/90. We (THE STARVING ARTISTS) do the version of "About A Girl" that is on this CD.
LIVE AT READING came out today on CD and DVD!FOO FIGHTERS GREATEST HITS
I love this band and this release is Awesome! Especially the CD/DVD version. Their videos are Excellent! Got a bit side tracked today...
My friend and bandmate Dennis Riordan is installing a new bathroom for me...this was the first of many additions and improvements. Built to shred!
