c. 1964 RANKIN/BASS PRODUCTIONS/RICK GOLDSCHMIDT ARCHIVESThis is the photo (transparency) I lent GOLDEN BOOKS for the 2nd edition of the DVD release for the cover. The first cover featured some poor artwork. Initially, GOLDEN BOOKS credited me for not only the cover photo (on the back cover of the DVD) BUT also all of the photos during the Arthur Rankin introduction. These are the editions that have the name RANKIN/BASS right on the front covers (As they should have to this day). Then about 4 years after these releases (Somewhere around 2002), my credit and the name RANKIN/BASS mysteriously disappeared. As a result, Arthur Rankin asked that his introductions (Which made it a much better and special DVD) be removed.
