Andy Williams from my proposed RANKIN/BASS special THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR! Andy loved it!
Just a quick note to let you know that the History Channel special you participated in, The Real Story of Christmas, is set to air on November 30th at 8pm.

Some of you may have received a postcard or prior email from me with a Nov. 29th airdate, which is also the date that is listed on the attach image. Please note that the 11/29 airdate is no longer correct and has since moved to November 30th at 8pm - confirmed! Sorry for any confusion!

Celebrating RANKIN/BASS' SANTA CLAUS IS COMIN' TO TOWN's 40th Anniversary!

Last year GAYLORD OPRYLAND had lifesize PEANUTS in A CHARLIE BROWN CHRISTMAS display!

Gaylord Opryland’s popular ICE! event returns again this year with an all-new attraction. Celebrate the 40th anniversary of the holiday classic, RANKIN/BASS' Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town®, with an interactive world of colorful ice sculptures. Relive the story of how our favorite Christmas traditions came to be through classic scenes, including Burgermeister outlawing the toys in Sombertown, the melting of Winter Warlock’s icy heart, and Kris Kringle becoming Santa Claus. All hand-carved in 2 million pounds of ice! It’s the ONLY attraction like it in the USA and only at Gaylord Opryland!

Bing Crosby was originally slated for the classic RANKIN/BASS TV Special of 1968, as the Jack Davis poster art indicates! Even though all of the production stills from the special are in Black and White, the special is in COLOR!
