This is the time of year that I think of my late friend BURL IVES & his widow DOROTHY IVES! Wonderful people! BURL not only starred in RUDOLPH THE RED-NOSED REINDEER as SAM THE SNOWMAN BUT he also played parts in THE DAYDREAMER, THE FIRST EASTER RABBIT & THE BERMUDA DEPTHS for RANKIN/BASS! He also wrote the FOREWORD to my first book THE ENCHANTED WORLD OF RANKIN/BASS: A PORTFOLIO!
