Happy Birthday to Al Hirschfeld!
Today is Al Hirschfeld's birthday! We have all of the versions of his posters for Rankin/Bass' The Daydreamer in the NEW book, including an early version he did with hand lettering. Rankin/Bass had very good taste in art! Arthur Rankin was the art director at ABC TV in the 1950s. It is funny that his name is incorrectly listed as Harry under this art in the press book #alhirschfeld #thedaydreamer #rankinbass #birthday #artist www.miserbros.com
I had some Animagical help with the NEW book from a very dear friend of mine tonight. You want some high def Rankin/Bass Animagic in the new book? We got it! Also, behind the scenes info on Santa Claus is Comin' to Town and The Daydreamer, you won't get anywhere else. #thedaydreamer #rankinbassexpert #santaclausiscomintotown #thelittlemermaid #hayleymills #animagic #puppet #stopmotionanimation #thursday #screennovelties #arthurrankinjr

My two seminars are in the schedule at the Mid-Atlantic Nostalgia con (click link below) and I will be doing many presentations and interviews through the rest of the year! Lots to talk about! Can't wait!
Many, many interviews coming up this year! NEW book looks great! We got some great help on the page layout! Looking forward to talking about many things this season!
