I watched Robert Altman's The James Dean story this morning. I wanted to watch it again, after watching all of his work on COMBAT. I didn't realize that Arlene Sax (Martel) was one of his New York girlfriends. It is great seeing my friend Marcus Winslow as a boy in this. I love the use of all of the great black and white photography by Dennis Stock and others. The mJazz music by Chet Baker is a plus too.
