A CAN AM RACER sponsored by RANKIN/BASS PRODUCTIONS (1970-72) Pointed out by Christopher Laws This was at a time they were really diversifying: Lothar's car was sponsored by Rankin-Bass Productions famous for "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer" voiced by Burl Ives. Lothar had many Hollywood connections which no doubt included Paul Newman who was an experienced racer himself.
