I have over three feet of snow in my driveway...due to the way the wind blows on my block. This was the third worst storm in Chicago history (just behind 1979 and 1967)..20.5 inches at MIDWAY. 22" inches in Elk Grove w/ Josh. Glad I picked up my medications Tuesday am! One of my doctors had to cancel my appointment with him.

It is CRAZY here today!

My friend Zaven Keleshian posted this on FACEBOOK. We are seeing what may be the worst blizzard in Chicago since 1967 right now! The kind of blizzard that you see towards the end of RANKIN/BASS' RUDOLPH with elves spinning with packages and eskimos and igloos blowing around!

CHANNEL 44 in Chicago!

Channel 44 was the place for unusual cartoons and fun stuff in the early 1970's! This is where I first saw the 1966 MARVEL SUPER HERO CARTOONS and SPIDER-MAN.

RED TRAFFIC LIGHT VIOLATIONS are shameful...

How did these start? Heard a story on the radio news this am about the traffic light in front of Woodfield mall raking in the bucks on unsuspecting commuters. It is shameful for cities and villages to take advantage of people during tough times like these, in such a way. I had an experience most recently in Chicago and Worth, IL. They condition drivers to turn right on a red light (While in the opposite directions the cars are turning left)...when no cars are traveling North and South...and then they take your picture and send you a $100 ticket in the mail. Who came up with this concept? The devil?
