I was watching RANKIN/BASS' THE KING KONG SHOW last night and I remembered how much I loved the Maury Laws music cues in that one! Some of those same cues are used in RANKIN/BASS' THE JACKSON FIVE SHOW. The first disc of the official DVD release also has an extended version of the first episode. I also watched some more of RANKIN/BASS' THE JACKSON FIVE SHOW and the quality is great! Love the early songs of the J5 and there are a few animation tricks they used towards the middle of the series that look sensational! There is also a cool RANKIN/BASS logo with the MOTOWN logo after the end credits. I believe the official release of the set is tomorrow.
