I ran into my old newspaper editor JACK MURRAY from THE REPORTER NEWSPAPER a few weekends ago. I did the editorial cartoons for the paper for ten years. He told me about Diane Petro Losiewicz's childrens book JOLLY SCARECROW'S CHRISTMAS SURPRISE and thought it might lend itself to a RANKIN/BASS special.
