RANKIN/BASS DVD box set

Here is what the 2007 RANKIN/BASS DVD box set looks like. It should have the name RANKIN/BASS on the box BUT it doesn't yet....perhaps in 2008. I am told they would like to do a new RANKIN/BASS Documentary for 2008's set!

CHICAGO KID'S CHRISTMAS TV video

Many ask me for the classic CHICAGO KID'S TV shorts: HARDROCK, COCO, & JOE: THE THREE LITTLE DWARVES & SUZY SNOWFLAKE (Centaur Productions) & FROSTY THE SNOWMAN (UPA). Some think RANKIN/BASS Produced them. The CENTAUR works were actually animated by WAH MING CHANG who worked on all the GEORGE PAL stuff and later designed some of the devices on TV's STAR TREK. Well now, I am making a VHS available directly from the master tapes. Some remember watching these on WGN-TV on GARFIELD GOOSE & FRIENDS, THE RAY RAYNER SHOW and even BOZO'S CIRCUS. Christmas is not Christmas without seeing these again! Enjoy!

Yes...RANKIN/BASS did animate the commercials x 3 during the 1964 Broadcast of RUDOLPH THE RED-NOSED REINDEER on the GENERAL ELECTRIC FANTASY HOUR. Have gotten alot of questions about my RUDOLPH Collector's pack on EBAY! These commercials were my holy grail during the research I did for my RANKIN/BASS books! RANKIN/BASS Eye candy!

If you don't have it....pick it up! It is cheap and has a nice cover and it is a nice print of the first RANKIN/BASS TV Special from February 1964! It was the first RANKIN/BASS special for the GENERAL ELECTRIC FANTASY HOUR!

Paul is very well known for his work in MAD MAGAZINE and he has created the RANKIN/BASS characters like FROSTY THE SNOWMAN, The Heat Miser and The Snow Miser. We carry signed postcards of the MISER BROS in our SHOPPE! Paul signed them personally for you!

FESTIVAL OF FAMILY CLASSICS on DVD!

These are some nice additions to a RANKIN/BASS DVD collection! FESTIVAL OF FAMILY CLASSICS is a GREAT animated series from RANKIN/BASS and CLASSIC MEDIA have issued several in very affordable DVDs like these. There are two episodes per disc. There is another edition with the Princess collection as well. www.amazon.com does not picture them but apparently carries them. www.deepdiscountdvd.com carries them as well. These are very nice transfers of the series!
