C. 2001 Miser Bros Press/Rick Goldschmidt Archives Alfie Scopp, seen all the way to the right of Larry D. Mann, and voice of Charlie-In-The-Box is still living today at age 95 in Canada. Bill Giles told me that he was very close friends with Robert Goulet, and they would play cards in the studio frequently. I believe this is how Arthur met Goulet and would hire him to sing THE DAYDREAMER in 1966

UPA'S GAY PURR-EE

 Just watched GAY PURR-EE on DVD and made a better cover for the DVD cover today (above) :)  I remember seeing it at school as a treat movie at STONEY CREEK SCHOOL.  Love the art in it and the Chuck Jones stylings.  I could see the film boring children and why it wasn't a great success BUT it sure is eye candy for the animation adult fan!

BLUE LIGHT Starring Robert Goulet as David March

I want to THANK my pal Gary Matheson for his get well gift! BLUE LIGHT the complete series from the master tapes. It is a very cool show that premiered in January of 1966 along with BATMAN. Robert Goulet is surprisingly good as an actor and this was the same year he sang "The Daydreamer" for RANKIN/BASS.

I was just talking about this series with my friend Tom and then my friend Gary sent this along. This series premiered along with BATMAN on ABC-TV in 1966 BUT didn't last long. Robert Goulet also sang the DAYDREAMER for RANKIN/BASS in 1966.
