Rankin/Bass' The Charlie McCarthy show

This is a photo from the Vent Haven museum.  Many people ask me about the famed Rankin/Bass' The Charlie McCarthy show pilot film that Rankin/Bass Productions shot (Detailed in my book The 20th Anniversary edition of The Enchanted World of Rankin/Bass:  A Portfolio available in hardcover from www.miserbros.com ).  As of this date, the film has not been found.  It is a holy grail of mine.  When I was writing my 6th book, Rankin/Bass' Frosty the Snowman 50th Anniversary scrapbook, a friend of mine located the Animagic figure of Mortimer Snerd at the Vent Haven Museum.  The Museum was kind enough to take good pictures for me and I included them large in my Frosty book!  The Rankin/Bass figure of Mortimer was on display at the Vent Haven museum (That appears to be him in the upper right corner of the big case to the left).
