Who remember Channel 44?
\
This was my channel! First place I saw Rankin/Bass' Mad Monster Party? Spider-man, Marvel Super Hero Cartoons, etc.
Friday fun!
I have been working hard on our new book project...and lovin' it! Book
#6 in fact, to make the library a 6 pack in the Spring. Here is a sneak
peak/page. A wonderful piece from our pal Scott Jeralds!
Scott and I go way back, to the days when he worked at Hanna-Barbera.
I have Scott to Thank for my meetings with Bill and Joe and my
friendships with Jerry Eisenberg, the late Iwao Takamoto, etc. Bravo! #rankinbass #saturdaymorningcartoons #new #book C. 2019 Scott Jeralds

Bradley had fun at the Museum of Television and radio in New York 2003
Rankin/Bass story boarder Don Duga, Bradley, myself and the late Rhoda Mann (Howdy Doody's first puppeteer and Mother Nature in the Year Without A Santa Claus).
Bradley R.I.P.
My dear friend Bradley Bolke passed away today at 93. You may know him as the voice of Chumley in Tennessee Tuxedo and his tales or Jangle Bells in The Year Without A Santa Claus. He did many voices such as the ghostly trio in Casper and Norman and Dracula in Rankin/Bass' Mad, Mad, Mad Monsters. He appeared with me at the museum of television and radio in New York in 2003 and at a few Chiller Theatres. We were lucky to get him in our Rankin/Bass documentary "We are Santa's Elves" for the Year Without A Santa Claus blu ray and he has contributed to my books. His brother was Dayton Allen (Deputy Dawg, The Howdy Doody Show). We will miss him! Glad I was able to help him out a little in his later years #bradleybolke #chumley #janglebells #rankinbass #theyearwithoutasantaclaus #madmadmadmonsters
