I saw a fan in one of our Rankin/Bass groups, shared an article by a classic TV network that had errors in it about Frosty the snowman. It said June Foray, who I became friends with and interviewed extensively, did the voice of Karen and then was replaced by an unknown actress after a few airings in the early seventies. FALSE: Her original recording as Karen made it onto the MGM soundtrack album, but never made it on to CBS television. She was the voice of the school teacher and some of the school children. This is covered in my books and liner notes to the MGM digipack cd release too. Maybe they did their research on Wikipedia? I have no idea. #Frostythesnowman #Juneforaydonovan ☃️

June Foray Donovan R.I.P.

Sorry to hear my dear friend June Foray Donovan passed away at 99!  She was so nice and recorded many voice mail messages for me (one has been on my voice mail for years) and SUPER talented!  She lived a long life and I am happy for that!  She popped up in an episode of It's About Time, dubbing Grandmother Krek's voice (Imogene Coca).  We would always talk about stuff like that and I sent her many things that the studios did not. R.I.P.  #juneforay

Trick or Treat

My dear friend June Foray Donovan turned 98 a few days ago...

June and I have been friends for a long time and so glad she celebrated her 98th!   She has helped me with so many things over the years and even recorded many voices for me and is on my voice mail as Rocky :)  She recorded several messages for me as THE MAN FROM U.N.C.L.E. (She was the voice that said "Our Man From U.N.C.L.E. will return after these messages").  A super talented lady and a very nice one!

I love this series! Kind of a cross between Jay Ward, THE IMPOSSIBLES and Roger Ramjet :)  Hasn't been seen since 1966 on TV!

I am looking forward to ROCKY & BULWINKLE season 4 to be released finally on August 17th! It has been 5 years since season 3 (Which I have on right now). My dear friend June Foray did many voices in the series including the famous ROCKY THE FLYING SQUIRREL!
