Target should have continued with the vintage boxes! They seem to be moving away from classic stuff lately 😩

Steve Banes posted this on FACEBOOK.  So glad to see TARGET went vintage with their boxes again!  I have been seeing some really bad air brushed art by DC artists on the internet.  All of these look good!  Last year's boxes looked even better.  The cereal tasted absolutely awful last year and I doubt they improved it this year.  Tasted like cardboard with no sugar in it at all....yuch!

The front of these boxes is the only good thing about this cereal :)  It tastes AWFUL!  I remember what the cereal was like in the 1970's and this wasn't it!  It was more of a light, sugary cereal with marshmallows (Like KABOOM)...it tastes like bland chemicals now...just AWFUL!  The back and side panels of the boxes are also lame.

I just read these will start hitting TARGET stores in early September, THANKS to General Mills and TARGET!  Why not use the classic art all of the time?  It would definitely increase General Mill's profit margin.  The modern art they are currently using, should be filed far away in a cold, dark monster castle somewhere!

FRANKENBERRY, COUNT CHOCULA, FRUIT BRUTE, BOO BERRY & YUMMY MUMMY

My friend Patrick Owsley tells me that TARGET will be selling retro GENERAL MILLS cereal of FRANKENBERRY, COUNT CHOCULA, FRUIT BRUTE, BOO BERRY and YUMMY MUMMY this Fall!  I have been waiting for this....the recent GENERAL MILLS air-brushed packaging is awful!  Now, if they could only change the cereal back to what it was before....it taste like puffy chemicals now :)  I remember when the marshmallows used to taste real and the cereal was a totally different texture.  General Mills says they will hit stores early September :)
