This is my Burger King!

 Allen Swift, my late friend, voiced Burger King!   He also voiced many other famous characters including Felix Flankin and the monsters in Rankin/Bass' Mad Monster Party, Simon Barsinister on The Underdog show, Characters on The Howdy Doody Show and The Hostess Ho Ho King!

This is the Naperville, IL Burger King as it still appears today!

My Facebook friend, actor Bruce Kimmel guest starred in that episode and it has always been one of my favorites!  Bruce was in the first season episode...the first one with the band, that I love too!  Howdy is in my pal Gary Busk's collection.

Howdy Doody's Magic Hat

I love the design of this Gene Deitch directed UPA cartoon, Howdy Doody's Magic Hat!  It used paper cut outs to tell the story in 1954.  I just reread the book SAY KIDS!  WHAT TIME IS IT?, and this was just before The Mickey Mouse Club stole Howdy's Magic Hat and magic ratings. #UPA #Thehowdydoodyshow #genedeitch #animation #culpeper #cartoon
